I had Teddy pee pad trained at 4 months (we got him at 3 months). BUT, I was incredibly strict with him and it was exhausting. Even so, had he not had his particular personality/temperament, it may have taken longer no matter how I approached training. I think your dog will get the hang of it sooner rather than later. They learn a lot of things all at once and not necessarily in the order we wish them to learn. Hang in there!! Six months is still a baby! |
