Until they bumped me up to 4 Gb a couple months back, I was always running out of data at 2 1/2 Gb. 6 of 1 and a half a dozen of the other.
I'm not hooked up to the internet just the phone.
It all comes down to a persons needs. Having good coverage is vital. I had a contract with spring and wasn't able to use it at work. I dropped them. I got tired of paying for what I wasn't getting.
You can always barter with your provider. When you're contract is up check around see what prices are out there and call your provider to see what they will offer to keep you
