Your input keeps us breeders on the right track. There are many breeders out there who don't give a hoot where their puppies are beyond collecting the sales price. Please don't forget that there are still many of us out there who DO care deeply about the puppies we've sent out into the world. We've trusted you to tell us the truth about how you would care for the puppy. If things aren't going well, we want to know and help. We want to know how our puppies develop over time. I've been blessed that most people who have my pups do send updates, but I always wonder about those I don't hear from.
As for the money part of all this, good breeders aren't trying to figure out how to make a profit, but we do expend a great deal of effort in trying to figure out how not to lose money. Few people have any clue what goes into this.
