I am worried now, because the vet did call and wants to do fasting blood test, and then 2 hours later after feeding another blood test. This mornings blood work had slightly elevated white blood count…so she's going to test her liver  and I'm getting an antibiotic for her on the way home. I really really pray so hard that this poor little puppy doesn't require another serious surgery..poor baby has had 2 already. |
Sounds like she is doing a Bile Acids Test. It sounds like she wants to rule out a liver shunt or other liver problem. I hope things work out ok for you and your puppy.
