Honestly, I too would chip her without question bc you just never know what could happen. All 4 of mine are chipped and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I know how scary it is to put your baby under, but as long as you do the pre-surg bloodwork, your kiddo should be a-okay. Try not to worry as best you can and just know you're doing the right/best thing for your baby.
