Where a person obtains a dog is their business.
 
As to the rescue bashing here, a legitimate rescue does not "sell" dogs.  When you make comments like that, please at least mention who the group is because that is NOT the norm.  Also, in defense of shelters....they don't "sell" dogs either. Taking animals in, no matter how you look at it, is not cheap.  Maybe they don't spay neuter, but they have paid employees, they feed and care for those animals and there are utility bills.  Sure some are better than others; but that goes for rescues and breeders and honestly anyone!

Then, go take a look at our 990s and also those of other yorkie rescues. I think you will be stunned when you see how costly it is to run a rescue and that is without paying any employees!
