For sure have the hair around his eyes trimmed. Healthier for them. Less bacteria getting into eye. You can still have a top knot. Don't need eye hair for that.
Good luck at groomers.
I just had my 13 week old boy at the groomers today. Had just a few trims to do. The eyes were one of them.
He was a total brat while there. Thank goodness didn't take more than 30 min.
