I got Toto about 2 years ago when he was 8, along with many of his things. He still uses the same bed and crate he used in his original home. Even after I wash them, when he sees them come out of the dryer he is so happy to see the bed and blankets. He likes them so I kept them. It's like he knows it's "his" as opposed to the other beds we have here that are Uni's. For example he won't sleep on her Cloud 9 unless she isn't in the room. He knows that's hers. LOL

She will eventually get to be comfortable and make herself at home. Sure of course wash her items but I wouldn't get rid of them entirely. Unless you don't like them. In that case, donate them.

My MIL just got a 3 yr old girl yorkie a few days ago. She's so happy. She was rehomed by a friend's daughter. Was yours a rehome also?

And welcome to YT!
