I've never used one, but I've used doggy cologne on Chloe before, and it wasn't the best. It's different for each dog, and it made her smell nice, but she was scratching more than usual. She didn't have any issues with licking it off, but she chewed herself red in some spots. You could probably ask them to use something else, or not use anything at all and give the pup a bath. It might have been the brand I was using on Chlo-Bug, but I would rather not put your dog through the same thing she went through.
