I have the Chris Christensen wooden Pin brush (both sizes), and I love them. I also have the Buttercomb 06 and 12. I love them also. I still think you will need another pin brush unless you always comb your puppy fully. A puppy often matts, and the wooden brushes don't go all the way to the skin always. Still, they are my favorite brushes. I also have a CC gold pin brush, the CC Andreas brush, and a Madan pin brush. My little girl has a silk coat, but she has a very thick coat. I brush and comb her hair in layers. I wish you lots of love, joy, and laughter with your puppy.
