This is very true about "teacup". It's indeed a term we try not to use here as it's caused so much damage to this beloved breed. You are correct - there is no such thing as "teacup" - it's a term used by unscrupulous breeders and greeders - run far away from ANY breeder who uses this term. The standard for yorkie size is 7lbs or less....no "teacup" size at all. Hope that helps clarify
