I'm sorry. I know how you feel. My little boy is 14.5 and he isn't going to be around much longer due to his heart disease. He's currently recovering from pneumonia that came out of the blue. It's tough to see them perky and lively one minute and then see them struggling the next. I am pretty sure I'll be canceling my upcoming vacation because I'd rather be with him and the thought of being unable to call the shots in this part of his life is too hard to think about. I plan to put him to sleep before he has even one day of suffering. Hang in there, meds do help them and you're little friend will tell you when it's enough.
