At least they didn't breed father to daughter. I guess that's the only reason. they never spayed her, yet paid $100/year for her rabies tag for three years since she is intact. I'm from the same county and after I got one bill for $100 for Uni intact(at the time) I refused to pay. Got her spayed after that though.
I gave MIL tips on how to ween her off people food. She said she's so skinny.
