It's just horrible, and I'm now anxious about my luna. I plan on traveling at the end of the month, and I'm trying to decide whether it's worth it to board her or not. One of my boss's dogs got it, and she was vaccinated against it. Luckily, Luna has a vet appointment tomorrow morning, so I'll ask them what exactly is going on. |
That is so scary. I know that at least for the human flu vaccine, it is a guess at the prevelant strains of the year. I don't know if there is typically a flu vaccine developed for dogs or if this is in direct response to this highly contagious strain but that is awful that your bosses dog was vaccinated and still got sick

hopefully his illness was less impacting because of the antibodies the vaccine had encouraged the dogs body to develop.
