@colesmommy01, o.o but as for grooming..? it was easy for you? you must be good lol. i'm so scared of messing up my baby. i feel like i'm gonna make him bald or atleast make him have some bald patches. what scissors do you use? Do you know if Master Grooming ones are any good? I've also been looking into sleepy pod, but how is it when it comes to carrying it around? it is cute looking, but it looks so uncomfy since its so round.. x_x;
my puppy's expected weight is 6-7 lbs.. the sleepy pod website says that for weightwise, it should hold a 7 lbs cat and 5.5 lbs dog for the mini version. Do you think I'd be able to use the mini one or should I go for the regular one if I decide to buy? I've emailed them asking but I haven't received a response yet. :/ |
I have scissors by Master Grooming, I used them to cut my friend's dog's hair. I'm not great at grooming, but I don't really trust other ppl to cut my dog's hair so I learned to do a little by watching Youtube lol. Plus I cut my own hair

. If you do scalp him

remember the hair grows back and rather quickly. If your pup is going to be on the bigger side I would definitely get the regular sized sleepy pod so you can save $$$ in the future and not have to purchase a bigger one and it will be more roomy. My girl who I thought would be smaller

has the mini but she's projected to be 6 lbs grown so I have to get a larger car seat. As for comfort, it's really soft for them and has breathable mesh. As for their owners???? I'm 5 ft (barely) and it bangs my hips constantly(even adjusted) so I only use it as a car seat or for taking her to the vet. The strap is detachable and you can carry it by the handle. I use the handle way more than the strap since I hate for anything to dig into my shoulders. I definitely don't see myself carrying it around while at the mall hehehe. That being said, it is the best car seat I've had and I've also had the snoozer. I'll attach a link to the scissors and try to get a pic of Laveau in her sleepypod she's right at 2lbs so you can see how it may be uncomfortable for a 6+ lber
