I'm in chicago, and it's really serious. I work in a pharmacy and we've seen an increase in medications for dogs. When you have vets writing a controlled prescription for a pet, then there's an issue. There is starting to be a shortage of the cough syrup, and it's making things worse.
It's just horrible, and I'm now anxious about my luna. I plan on traveling at the end of the month, and I'm trying to decide whether it's worth it to board her or not. One of my boss's dogs got it, and she was vaccinated against it. Luckily, Luna has a vet appointment tomorrow morning, so I'll ask them what exactly is going on. |
