Has an orthopaedic surgeon done the diagnosis? With this it is important to have a clear understanding of where the disease is - how many of the cervical vertebrae are involved etc. Also you should have been given guidelines on exercise restriction - crate rest - activities to avoid etc etc etc.

Acupuncture I have found good for pain relief both human and doggies - my boy has DLSS and when he was acute I used acupuncture with a vet trained in canine acupuncture..
This was for pain management.

I am not a fan of chiro for neck issues - unless the vet chiro is highly skilled and does not use high velocity thrust adjustments.

Usually you raise the food bowls and water dishes so your dog does not have to bend their head very much to eat or drink water.

Hydrotherapy is most indicate during acute flares and that being a cold compress. There are various sites that sell custom made Velcro wraps for canines. I have a lumbar one - a neck one - and a knee one. They are not too pricey. Again I would talk with my ortho about using this before I invest any $$ into it.

You also might want to look into this: VOM

Bottom line is get a treatment plan in place with vet(s) consultations

Good luck
