Shana....I had CT BAD ! I went years before I did anything and the doctor told me if it was so severe that IF I had kept waiting.... I could have atrophied the tendons in my hands......My hands were asleep or aching ALL the time.
I had surgery on both hands and WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE ! It will start interfering with your sleep - your hands will go totally numb just shampooing your hair or putting on Makeup. When ever you raise your arms they'll just turn numb.
and it's just a very uncomfortable feeling 24/7 when it gets bad....
Right now - yours sounds mild - you can get the brace to try at night but if it gets bad....surgery is needed.... and the surgery is SO worth it. |
