This is one tip from a member:
Perhaps put him enclosed in a room and fill it with a layer of pee pad pads all over the room. After he pee pees, smart removing one pee pad at a time. And keep doing that. Though that takes a while...
What we did was put pee pee pads in a cat litter box. We dabbed a bit of his pee onto the pad the first time, and after that we would encourage him to go by placing him go to the pee pee pad every hour or so. When he did pee pee on the pad, we praised him a lot and gave him a treat. When he peed somewhere else, we gave him a stern NO! each time.
