As long as it was a small piece I think he will be okay. I would keep on eye on him and if he starts looking uncomfortable I would take him to a Vet to check for a possible obstruction. When Buster was a puppy everything went in his mouth, I used to joke that his middle name was leave it because we were saying that all the time. Now is a good time to start training commands like leave it or drop it because they are so fast and curious. I hope all comes out well!
