Default 5 month old Yorkie and Giardia

Hello, I just became a new Yorkie owner in February. I have a lovely little girl named Peanut who is 2.4lbs as of yesterday's vet visit. Anyway, I had to give a stool sample and it came back positive with Giardia. My vet gave me a Panacur/Flagyl liquid mixture to give her for 5 days. My question is, can I mix this "compounded" mixture with wet dog food? I just gave her, her first dose (1ml syringe) and it was nearly impossible to get her to take it. She fought me every drop of the way. I know some medicines are flavored and are taken more readily, but this does not appear to be flavored as it definitely smells like medicine. I wouldn't even take it if I had to! I'm sure I can call my vet in the morning to ask, but was hoping maybe others had experience with this combo or any advice on giving liquid medication especially if I can mix with food! Many thanks from me and Peanut!
