Well that is an hour of my life I can't get back but it was like a soap opera and I just couldn't quit reading. Think I will throw my two cents in. "Mean People Suck". Now, I wonder how many of you thought I was aiming that comment directly at them? In reality, I was not. My point is when someone makes a comment, it is not possible to know everything that is in their hearts or brains so I read every comment with the understanding that I am getting just a little piece of the overall puzzle. I will say this. When I joined this forum six months ago, there were several people whose style of commenting absolutely made me cringe. I did not run. I sat back and listened and tried to get a feel for who they were and what they were really trying to say. Some of them are now my very favorites and I have come to really listen to them when they "talk". However, not everyone will be that open-minded and I hate for us to lose the opportunity to make a positive difference in the life of a precious yorkie. I like to subscribe to the catch more flies with honey than vinegar theory. Yes, I know that does sound holier than thou and believe me I am not. I can also be a real b word when I want to be, lol. Anyway, love this forum and I agree 100% that it is not that bad or negative in the overall scheme of things. |
