No, I haven't read this whole thread, I only responded to your reply because I agreed with you and we both had responded to another thread about having a pet bird. I was so afraid to sound judgmental on that thread, but I did want to give my thoughts on the matter. Your reply, just hit a note that I was feeling, I guess my reply wasn't all that clear. I did not think your posts sounded preachy at all, and in fact I thought you were saying, you accepted a wide range of replies "as long as our words remain civil, not mean-spirited or intended to wound." I was trying to explain what types of replies get me to "open my mind."
