I do this too if anyone comes with a toddler. I don't want to change my girls knocking them over or the toddler to pull hair or ears. I've also done this to separate my granddogs from my girls if the granddogs get too rambunctious. I also put up 4 baby gates to the bedrooms when a few of my boys and their family come to visit so my girls don't get nosy and either roll in their clothes/suitcase or find some of the kids candies to eat. One time Zada found a pkg. of gum in my sons back pack and ate paper and all. That was when all the gates went up.
I bought a few baby gates earlier from kmart thanks hun
