So Lily had GME, and she is on her last month of prednisone. She does not have the ability to bark or pant. Once her brother tried to steal from her and she tried barking but it was like she was debarked, which she is not since she was barking before. Then last night I took her out and she was playing and running around, then I realized she could not pant, she was breathing really quick through her nose but other than that she would not pant. I took her to the emergency vet to make sure all is good, they did a couple of tests and found nothing and booked her for an ultrasound to make sure the prednisone did not damage her liver. I also called her neurologist and I am waiting for him to call me back. Did anyone ever experience this with their dog or if you have any knowledge about it?
