You can probably wait until tomorrow BUT she really should be seen today. As for your exam, pretty much useless because you cannot tell if there is a fracture that way.

If anyone would be harsh, to be frank it would only be if you let her sit in pain and did not seek vet care. Accidents happen...we all know that.
