Oxy works pretty fast to contract the uterus. But, like as has been said, you might not see the placentas if mom can eat them..Take her temp now for a baseline and then every 12 hours of more often. If it goes about 102.5 there might be infection. Let your vet know ad have mom checked. She will continue post-partum discharge so keep her clean. And if she starts to have an unpleasant odor, take her to the vet immediately. He might want to put her on amoxycillen just to be safe-some docs do..
