My dog won't take any chews so we use topical. Mine tolerates Advantage Multi well which covers flea, lice, heartworm, intestinal worms including hookworm, roundworm, whipworm except tapeworm (my vet uses Droncit for tapeworms when needed), Sarcoptic and Demodectic mange. It does not cover ticks. For those that needed ticks coverage, there is Advantix II which repels fleas, ticks, mosquito but it doesn't cover intestinal worms and cannot be used on dogs less than 4 lbs. All in all, I like the Advantage Multi a lot better and have used it for many years since Pao is now almost 9 years old. | Advantix II does not have heartworm meds in it.
