Kinda strange topic for a first post.

Anyway, I used to use tanning beds when I was in my 20s. I am naturally very pale and my skin is very thin so you can see all my veins, not cute. But the harm tanning beds do to you are so bad. I'd say even worse than the actual sun. At least if you get real sun, you get vitamin D, also you slowly build up a tan. With a bed, it hurts your skin and feels really hot. The cheaper beds will burn you and not even get a tan. Plus tanning salons are not cheap. And they try to sell you their lotions that are like $50 a bottle.

The best is to get a color from self tanners, plus a bit of sunshine each day. Also I go swimming a lot in the summer. I use a high spf (50) and still get a tan.
