This post has brought back memories of all my dogs! My little dogs have all done the exact same thing..even when I put my puppy on the bed with a little blanket and a toy…she starts going wacko! digging the blanket.toy in her mouth shaking her head..lol. Plus it takes her a good 1/2 hour to actually settle down. I'm going to have to start going to bed earlier just so she gets the bedroom wackiness out before I actually want to sleep!! lol. And she too will run after a toy for as long as I keep throwing it. If I want to stop, she brings it to me and shakes her head so fast I'm afraid she's going to break it, lol. She just has a ton of energy. But when she crashes, she's out like a light. She is definitely more snuggly when she's tired. Trying to hold her when she's wound up for me, is a losing battle.
