As some of you may know by my post on "pictures" that I now have a new member in the family, Max, my second yorkie. Well I have to say this lil 9 week old is quite the brat. He only has 2 days home, and he's breaking pads, biting noses, faces, and hands. I bought him quite a lot of busy teething toys like I did with mia when she was a puppy. He cries non stop when he's dirty (poop) (so cute btw lol). Im trying to teach him some commands but he's quite the jumper for such a small thing. I currently have him on a play pen till mia learns to socialized adequately with Max.
Now, I say I rescued Mia from a "Want to be breeder" at 5 1/2 weeks old, and she's all grown up into a perfectly healthy 1yr old now. Since she was my first pup (home dog) she never really went outside much let alone socialize with other dogs, which unfortunately developed a fear against other animals. I did start taking her out more often when I noticed a few months back, and now she does bark at them but once they get close she shivers in fear.

I was already planning on having 2-3 pups at home because 1. well I love dogs duh and 2. I have no kids yet
so I needed her to be socialized.

I read a few articles on similar of Mia's case and so I followed such instructions:
1- when the Max provokes mia move him not her out of the zone, showing mia that I'm in control not Max.
2- keep Max in Playpen when its under no supervision.
3- every time mia gets close to Max, always praise her.
4- always show mia love at every moment when with Max , assuring her I still love her.
ETC ETC

For two days, I have to say Mia has been wonderful.
She gets close to Max sniffing him at least 8 times a day around the pen or even when out on the floor. Last night she even tried to cover him with the sheets when he was on my bed sleeping. (tooooo cute)

My problem is, how do I train such a brat. I never really dealt with this with mia given her age and he likes to provoke her a lot with his bratty self.
how do I train such a small pup with such personality???
