Hi and congratulations!! Its such an exciting time with the new puppy. I was really worried about all the same things, including the core vaccinations but some of them have to be done by law in NJ (I think) Some are for the safety of the dog. To me using Frontline and similar products feels like I'm using Roundup..UGH. My vet gave me Revolution for ticks and fleas, and Sentinel for Heartworm etc. I live in the country and surrounded by deer and other critters. So, I guess I made the decision to prevent known dangers to her health, then unknown side effects at this time. But I'm always willing to listen to people with much more knowledge then myself, and try to learn. I keep wondering if I was as fussy when my kids were babies, lol. |
