My previous vet made a habit of wiping down the table in front of me, and of washing his hands prior to examining my dogs.
Your pup should be weighed and then you can ask questions about dosage for Beneadyrl and Nutrical or what-ever you wish to use in case of hypoglycemia. Make sure you know the signs of low blood sugar.

Thank you for the link. That is great information. Having something to actually expect is good. I have so many questions I am thinking about typing them up and printing it off in bullet points and handing them to the vet! lol I don't get Colby until the 18th and I swear its going to be the LONGEST 3 weeks of my life.
