The first time we went to the vet, the dr recommended a shampoo called Stratford aloe and oatmeal. We have been using it for a month now and it doesn't seem to make a difference. His hair is black and silver, thick and rich. He isn't losing any hair either.
The dr said the next step would be to see a vet dermatogolist if we decide to.
I took a look at the link and Folliculitis seems like a close description.
