A Maltese mix. The person who posted wants a
Yorkie/Maltese mix. No matter how you look at it, it would be extremely rare to find a Morkie at a shelter. And on top of it all, you have to hope that it's a puppy and not an adult.

It must vary by vet, then, because the vet I use will not vaccinate puppies until 8 weeks of age. I wouldn't consider it a terrible thing to take a dog home at 8 weeks old, either. I'd wait until at least 10 weeks, personally, for social development, but I wouldn't hold it against someone if they let a puppy go home at 8 weeks.
