Thank you ladies..... Here in Pa. they don't ask for Bordadella for grooming, well not the groomer's I have used. Thinking about it now, there was one time in 2005 I made an appointment with my groomer, the day I took her in the groomer asked me if my dog had, had a Bordadella shot, I had just came back from a week end visit in NJ where I had to board my pup, they required the Bordadella vac. so I told the groomer yes, then asked why was she asking, she never asked in the past. She said they had an out break of kennel cough and would not be grooming unless the dog had a shot, it was more for protection for the clients dog, I was never asked by that groomer after that. I took Cody to Obedience training, all they required was Rabies shot. Last fall I checked out a day care center that's affiliated with my groomer, they also only required Rabies. What I read on line this morning, if day cares or boarding are well ventilated Bordadella is not needed.
2005 I was going to visit friends that lived in Wildwood NJ, their Condo did not allow dogs, it was just for over night, I had to board my baby. I called a local boarding place, all they required was Rabies shot, I called a boarding place in Wildwood NJ, they required Bordadella and Rabies. I got her the Bordadella vac.and boarded her in NJ, that dog had no reaction, that was 10 years ago, so many things have changed over the years.
