This is my first post to the group so let first say Hello to everyone. Really find this site as a great aid for taking care of my Yorkie.

My yorkie's name is Ollie. He goin on 14 weeks old. How old should Ollie be before he gets his first grooming/haircut. He's been getting his bath about once a week, sometimes a bit longer than once a week. While puppies are cute at this age I think he'd look much better with a nice grooming/haircut. (If he was one of my sons, I would have already been to the barber).

Thing is, I don't want to do it too early. Is there a certain age we should wait for before we give a grooming/haircut?
