We arranged some ottomans and baskets so he has a little area in the living room on the floor.
He surprised us and did not protest a bit about sleeping in crate last night. He usually sleeps on the bed, but we are thinking that it is going to be the crate from now on because of the safety issues he could face from jumping even after recovery.
He is doing potty very well. He just looks at us if he need something, and DH jump to his command! We have to bring the water to him and coax him, same with food.
So far, so good.
