Uni does this too! I call it stealth mode. She knows how to walk without making her tags jingle. Once Uni followed me outside. I must have been taking out the trash or something. I locked her out and she was barking at scratching at the front door. MIL's dog kept barking and I was like, wtf is Doobie barking at? Turns out Uni was out there for who knows how long trying to get back in! She was mad!
