I would complain. The dog shouldn't have stinky breath after a dental. I would use a water addictive while you can't brush. Tropi clean makes one without xylitol that my dogs like. We also use heathy mouth dog essential (available online). I syringe the heathy mouth into their mouths after they brush teeth every night.
