Does anyone have any advice on training a yorkie to use a doggie door?

I had one installed on my patio door yesterday. My other dog (a pekepoo named Chewbacca aka Chewie) is already a pro at using it and loves it! My ex had one at his house, so I trained Chewie to use it then, which really wasn't hard to do. He picked up on it very quickly. As soon as he saw the new doggie door at my place, he immediately went through it!

My yorkie, Griffy, on the other hand isn't really getting it. Griffy is a little skittish in general, and even the sound of Chewie going through the door makes him jump. I've gotten to the point where Griffy will go through the door if I hold it open for him, but it still takes a bit of time and persuasion to get him to do it.

Any advice would be extremely helpful!
