Its taken me a little while to figure out Sunni's potty schedule. I think its totally different for all of them. I've seen some excellent advice here about tethering your puppy to you until you learn the signs that he/she needs to go. Mine does a little circle and I know its…lets go out time!! Its hard to catch it at first, but I just pick her right up and out we go. She's good now. I have pad and outside trained her, so if I need to hurry her up we go right to the pad. Sometimes I have to keep putting her back on it and hold her back, but she's got the message now….progress not perfection
Oh yes…my girl is totally treat motivated. I keep them in my pockets now, so when she does what she's supposed to, she gets a treat and tons of praise.
