I have never used a cone on a dog or cat after spay or neuter surgery and have only had one patient that decided to chew on stitches after the surgery in over 40 years of getting numerous animals spayed and neutered.
We have been able to access some great vets over the years and most of the animals have come home feeling great. So great in fact that it has been difficult sometimes to limit their activities.
I hope your guys are feeling much better by now. It's good you were able to spend time with them during their recovery over the weekend. Such a shame that the one was not feeling well. |
