Thanks for the good news that Andy is feeling a teensy bit better today. Any positive news is wonderful, but I do feel for him having such horrible pain. It must be hard to see the glimmer of improvement when you are hurting so much.
Hope the family visit is perking him up a bit, and that you are finding time to enjoy them too.
Staple removal is one more step towards recovery, but I hope that procedure does not make the pain temporarily worse.
