My 9 year old yorkie Twinkles has developed a collapsed trachea. She honks like a pot-bellied pig, does the reverse sneeze and more recently begun to have difficulty breathing at night or when lying down. Requesting information on non-invasive treatments. She is now on a diet to lose weight. I read something about cough medicine, but dont know hoe much or what kind. She is a porky teacup... weighs 6lbs 8 oz. Thanks.
