I do like to get my puppy to eat a little something for breakfast. She loves when I put a teaspoon or so of yogurt mixed in with about 1/4 c of kibble. Her favorite hungry time is around 1 - 2 pm. I add more dry and mix with canned food split 1/3 to her 2/3 to my Shih Tzu. She doesn't always finish it. So I will put out more dry food around our human dinner time. I do give her carrots (she's teething) and reward treats when working on training her. She's pretty easy to predict when she needs the loo. She goes to the door. So, I leave a puppy pad there so, if she can't wait till I get there, she's still not making a mistake if she goes on the pad. I do have to order one of those bells. I'm just afraid it will be a game for her and she will be ringing it all day long, lol. |
