It's a small pill about the size of a low dose aspirin. Easy to swollow...or easy to make swallow in ZoE's case as she never willing takes any meds.
Today the vet gave her Metacam before her rabies shot. He said most dogs lick it right out of the non-needle syringe thing...but not Zo
it took the old open mouth, squirt in back of mouth, and hold mouth shut till she swallowed approach. Then she glared at the vet for a second or two, while she licked her tongue with a clear "yuck!" look, then proceeded to give him kisses, which made him laugh.
