My lil guy was neutered in November. He's a hefty 12 pounder too. No stitches. My vet also uses glue. And she does a great job. I've had one spayed and one neutered by her. Neither needed a cone, and neither ever bothered their incisions. Ranger was a little tired for a few hours, but by evening he was up and eating and active. I have a little toy poodle girl that is his best friend and they play constantly. I literally had to keep them apart for a few days, then I gave up and they were back at it. I did block off furniture so he couldn't jump for about a week. But he sure wanted too. LOL Your boys will be fine. The hardest part for you will be keeping them calm for a few days. Good luck with that!
