Bless your huge heart for taking in these former abused and used dogs. I'm SO very sorry for your recent loss, how very heartbreaking, unfair, and sad. That poor baby finally had a chance to really live, only to be taken by illness

I am glad you have another little one to fill your heart though. I would absolutely get her spayed, without a doubt. Especially given she could be at higher risk of issues due to how her health has been neglected thus far. As long as her pre-surg blood work checks out fine, she should do wonderfully under anesthesia.
