The last furbaby I lost in 1990- I grieved for over a decade before I got Chanel. in 2003 But I learned that only makes it worse and that hole she left is too big. I know I will always love Chanel but my heart isn't limited to a finite amount of love and I think that having a new furry child will give us something fun and positive to focus on rather than the loss of our last one. We had so many health issues the last 2 years it will be a delight to have a happy and healthy baby jumping around. Looking forward to it so very much.
And yes Deb does have a wonderful reputation not just for having beautiful dogs but for treating them well. That was important to me. Cuz you know to me at least ( grins) "Dogs are people too"!
